“Would you like picture?” The man asked, eyebrow hitching up as Shane finally realized he’d been waiting for a response while Shane had been assessing him. Shane opened his mouth, desperately trying to come up with a witty retort when his eyes landed on the logo stitched across the man’s hat that clearly labeled him a Raiders fan.Shane could feel his face doing something that would have made his mother smack him for his bad manners.
The man seemed to find it funny and let out a deep chuckle.
“It is a good team, yes?” The man doffed the hat at him, a cocky grin firmly in place.
“Well…maybe not the worst…I suppose.” Shane managed to say in a mostly civil tone; he wasn’t sure if he should admire the guy’s guts to so clearly don a rival team’s merch in a Montreal bar, or if he should assume the other man had a few screws loose.
