Qi Rong doesn’t think anything else can worsen his mood until he hears footsteps.
'I swear to whichever prissy little god is the strongest one up there,' he thinks, 'if that red-clothed, smug-faced motherfucker is here, I’m going to claw his other eye out.'
He glares as the intruder finally emerges into the dim light, and then catches himself abruptly when he’s met with a familiar, but not immediately punchable face.
“Oh,” he finishes lamely, “It’s you.”
He looks older than Qi Rong recalls ever seeing him, with the sheen of divinity glittering across his form in the firelight, and he’s in far nicer clothes, but it’s undeniably Mu Qing.

Summary
Feng Xin would like to think that he has become accustomed to the variety of strange (and often unfortunate) events that surround Xie Lian. He has become accustomed to the flights of fancy, and the trash collecting, and the occasional ill-fated culinary quest. He has even, as of late, become accustomed to His Highness’ cripplingly poor choice in spouse.
Despite all of Feng Xin’s practice in these unfortunates, however, he is not prepared for this.
“Who are you?” Xie Lian stares up at him from a puddle of oversized white robes, his eyes wide. He is several sizes too small, and several shades too oblivious. “And, um. Where are we?”
Beside him, Mu Qing sighs very very very deeply and pinches the bridge of his nose.
When a curse turns Xie Lian into a child again, Feng Xin, Mu Qing, and Hua Cheng have to work together to keep him safe. Needless to say, this is a trying task for all of them.

The last thing Yin Yu remembered was researching the Fall of the Banyue Kingdom for Chengzhu. Turns out, that was over a century ago. Now, Yin Yu has to figure out how to navigate this new life without a cursed shackle, with the Heavens completely restructured, and supposedly married to his greatest fear: Quan Yizhen.

after all the chaotic stuff had happened in the heavenly realm and things finally settled down ,
it seems like the gods will never catch a break especially after an arrival of a child that caused shocked and disbelief in the entire realm
Xie lian was minding his buisness when he saw a child seemingly lost admist the heavenly realm , he felt weirded how a child could be lingering around the heavenly since ascension at that age is impossible and usually gods that married eachother and had kids will be known .
“ Uncle Xie? ”
p/s this take place after the novel but beafleaf has a happy ending ( my way of coping ) . It’s just He xuan who gave up his fate because he loved qingxuan and kept it silence . Junwu is gone btw 🥰
