Summary
You slapped Vergil's hand away and pushed on his chest as hard as you could, and his eyes showed clear surprise as he fell and slumped back into the leather lounge with a grunt.
“Why must you always lie to me?” The lilt of your voice rang throughout Vergil’s ears.
“I would never lie to you-” Vergil is cut off before he can finish his sentence, your voice commanding his compliance.
“Be quiet. If all you're going to say is lies, then I'd rather you not speak at all.”
For once in Vergil's life, he felt completely and utterly gagged. His mouth went dry and he averted his gaze, the shame bleeding into his skin like a poison. He sensed what felt like a new emotion washing over him, and it felt so wrong, but he couldn’t stop himself from craving it more. Your voice demanded his undivided attention, commanded his will to bend to yours, and insisted that he should learn his place- which right now, was beneath you.

Summary
Blisters had inevitably formed on your feet, various cuts and abrasions littered your skin, and your fingernails had a layer of dirt and grime underneath them. You'd been running for what felt like hours.
Your discomfort was prevalent but your mind backtracked to the conversation you had with Vergil.
“Do you enjoy the hunt? Chasing your prey? Or are you more of a kill and be done with it devil?”
He looked down at your mischievous smile, before letting a curious smirk slip himself.
“Hunting demons… or chasing you?”
The nervous tingle in your gut back in the present made it certain that it was going to be a long night, glancing around at the various trees that loomed and surrounded you, a low growl emanating from an unknown location with a flash of bright blue light to accompany it.
Every single sense was on fire and everything within you screamed at you to run.
