Barth was laying on Tanrak's bed, flipping through the pages of a comic book Tanrak was sure he wasn't supposed to own. "But we have the whole dorm to ourselves now, right?" Barth raised his gaze from the pages. He looked at Tanrak with those eyes that always made Tanrak fold. The ones that always made him sin. "Isn't this what we wanted?"
Tanrak sat on the bed. His head hanged low. "I know, but we can't…"
Barth set his comic aside. "What? We can't what?"
"Barth…" Tanrak breathed out. Barth placed his index under Tanrak's chin, so that Tanrak would raise his head and meet his eyes.
Barth and Tanrak pretend to be sick to have the dorm all for themselves.
