Summary
Alastor pretending the whole "fucking him until he passed out in exchange for partnership" thing had never happened was fine with Vox. Really! It was totally cool and fine and not even that big of deal, it's not like he even cared. And if he just repeated that 100 more times in his mirror with his hypnosis than it would probably actually be fine at some point too.

Summary
Alastor never much fancied the idea of using a hunting dog to chase his prey down for him. For one, it seemed such a humiliatingly WASPish thing to do, old money behavior for people who wanted credit without doing any work. For another, Alastor liked the thrill of the chase, and had always thought sending a hound out after his prey would take all the joy from the hunt.
It turned out, however, that Alastor just had to meet the right dog.Alastor and and his hunting dog have a successful kill and an excellent night. Vincent is a very good boy.

“I’ve missed you too,” Vincent confesses.
Yeah, this is– they’ve overdone it with the drinks pretty bad.
The warmth from the whiskey churns inside Alastor’s guts, making his fingers feel numb. He tears his gaze away, staring at the whiteness of the ceiling instead of whatever is behind Vincent’s eyes.
The ceiling fan rotates on its axis, not doing much to snuff out the heat of the room. Vincent’s hand is still there, cupping his face, caressing his cheek.
Vincent’s voice cuts in. “Can I kiss you?” Ever so soft.
The fan is still spinning, worthlessly.
“Do you have to ask every time?”
Or: Alastor misses Vincent and they make out. Hard.
