Summary
Clarke came for the case. Not for her.
Agent Clarke Griffin arrived to profile a killer, not to unravel beneath the gaze of the woman leading the charge.
Detective Lexa Woods is a study in control—calm, composed, untouchable. She dissects crime scenes with cold efficiency, her mind working in ways Clarke understands—but can never predict.
They’re meant to keep it clean. Professional. But the air hums with unspoken weight—glances that cling, silences that tighten. Lexa, always steady, isn’t meant to falter. She doesn’t hesitate. Doesn’t waver. Yet here she is—adjusting in ways that have nothing to do with the case—and everything to do with Clarke.
The killer watches. Waits. Tracking every hesitation, every unspoken moment that wasn’t supposed to exist. And it’s a crack in control, a flaw to exploit.
For the first time, Lexa’s grip is slipping. Clarke is falling—reckless, unguarded—into a bond that knots like a noose.
And when it breaks, one of them won’t walk away.

Summary
"You look out for me, and I look out for you. Nothing really bad can happen as long as we have each other"
As Adora looks out from the highest point in Brightmoon Castle, she doesn't see the sunlight glinting off of the ocean waves. She doesn't hear the chattering of the citizens below her going about their day. All she can sense are the ghosts of her past, and the whisper of a promise long broken.
Force Commander Catra, the greatest military leader the Horde has seen in decades, the architect of a dozen campaigns of conquest, is dead. The Princess Alliance, more importantly She-Ra, has to decide how to react to this development in their war. On one hand, the Horde just lost what may have been their greatest asset, the person almost solely responsible for their rapid advance across the continent. On the other hand, Adora is faced with her reopened wounds, and the prospect of a future without her former best friend.
She would never let herself dream that halfway across the continent that same Magicat is waking up to a new future of her own. A struggle for survival, and a journey to find some kind of peace with who she is and what she's done.

Summary
"Oh there she is." He juts his chin out, but it’s not possible to distinguish her amongst the other women crowding near the refreshments.
Adam's stride quickens as he gets a clear direction and it makes it hard for Adora to keep up in her heels. She's about to whisper to him to slow down when she catches sight of the woman he's making a beeline toward.
Adora's heart beats too loudly in her chest and she feels like she might throw up right there in front of every upper class Bright Mooner.
It's her. It has to be her. She's older, changed in many ways but Adora would know Catra anywhere and any time. Her face is in a polite smile that doesn't reach her eyes, the kind she used to give to Adora's friends in Eternia whenever she ran into them.
But it's the same rounded cheeks Adora remembers. The same eyes—one melted gold and the other a vibrant blue—that Adora spent hours upon hours staring into. The same lips that Adora kissed more times than she could count, the ones she'd whispered broken promises into in the middle of the night.

Adora meets Catra again, years after she disappeared from Adora's life. Will they be able to find love again? Second Chance AU.
