Summary
Deena Johnson is 16 years old but has to work two jobs between school to take care of her younger brother Josh. Samantha Fraser is spoiled and rich and has everything any Shadysider could only dream of. One thing pulls them together: neither of them is happy with where they are, both of them are searching for something more. When their paths keep crossing and they keep bumping into each other, what will become of two girls destined for misfortune but searching for love in a society which, for many reasons, pushes them apart.
