It was late June when you first walked into The Last Drop. The air outside grew thicker, the smog harder to tolerate with how humid the climate got around this time of year, reminding every citizen that despite not feeling like it, they were most certainly in a tropical country, no matter how chilly winters could get, especially down in the Fissures.
Cold, ventilated air finally washed over your body once you stepped inside, ready to go on ahead with your little interview when you found yourself face to face with Silco, a man most Lane-dwellers despised with a burning sort of passion.

Summary
Everyone and their mother knows that suppressants aren’t foolproof. They’re not a one size fits all like the pharmaceutical companies tout them to be. Some meds are better for omegas than others, but price and availability limits their usage. It’s a whole thing that Robert has learned to live with.
So, when one of the members of Z-Team is going into a rut because of a mysterious drug, the suppressants aren't as effective as they should be. Robert decides to hole up for a day in hopes he’s only going into pre-heat and not a full blown heat.
What he gets is help from an alpha that he never expected.

Summary
Too busy being Mechaman to ever be Robert, the omega. On the strongest suppressants his dwindling inheritance can buy, and then none when that eventually runs out too. Robert struggles to navigate life through the lens of a "normie". Someone who can't fall back on being a superhero in order to avoid his biology. He never expected to live this long to suffer the consequences of the abuse he put his body through constantly. Now, he's dealing with ex-super villains and trying to help them in their rehabilitation while suffering through a hormonal hurricane.
Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you view it, his team is comprised of mostly single alphas who are all too happy to ogle their new dispatcher, who screams emotional baggage. Now just to see who can crack the sarcastic ass dispatcher first, and maybe do their jobs along the way.
