Toshinori smiled as he reached into the pocket of his suit coat and pulled out a small box. He held the shiny gold trinket in the palm of his hand and held it out towards the boy, who was hesitant to pick up the fragile present. Izuku looked at the king with caution, but he simply smiled and nodded, encouraging him to take it. So Izuku carefully picked up the little box and held it up to admire it in the light. “It’s pretty! But... what is it?”
“That, my boy, is a very special music box. Try winding the little nob on the side.”
Izuku turned the nob and watched as the box began playing music. He recognized the of so familiar melody. It was the same tune his mother would sing him to sleep with whenever a nightmare kept him awake. “Now whenever you feel lonely or sad, you can just play this song and know how much we love you"

The year was 1847 in St Helena, England. Lance had a good life working at his family's Sweets Shop. He had good friends, good parents, a nice home.. and he had Keith. Though no one really knew about that part. They wouldn't allow it if they knew. SO they kept it a secret. This was just fine until one cloudy march evening he returned home to find a a young woman and her father sitting upon his couch and his parent's telling him they've finally found someone for him to marry.

Izuku stared at the ground, his mind racing with the possibilities. Kacchan was the most ferocious. Iida was the fastest. Yaoyorozu was probably the best option if anything. She was level headed and strong willed, but smart too. She was also a female beta, if Shouto was into that kind of thing.

Summary
Izuku likes being a waiter, really! There's all sorts of people who he can meet -- every hour, he has a new set of tables, a new group of people to meet. They're usually really friendly, too. Especially the regulars. Occasionally, he gets stuck with the mean tables that complain about everything.
Sometimes, he's distracted by the cute customers. And, sometimes, he gets more involved with them than he probably should.
(or: a self-indulgent restaurant AU where Izuku's the poor waiter stuck with the pickiest customer ever, Enji Todoroki: the well-renown medical hero. Izuku's only now learning he has a son: a very, very pretty one.)

Lance had walked forward and lifted Keith’s chin to meet his eyes. “Yes.” He said in a low tone. “I am definitely trying to separate you from your brother so I can murder you. How ever did you know?” As abruptly as he did it Lance stopped and went back to talking about the flowers.
At this point Keith’s glare could probably kill someone.
