"I have never once thought otherwise." Yuuji traces the very markings that had scorned Sukuna from birth, before he had the arms, the eyes, the mouth. His touch is faint and delicate, as if they are something to be worshipped and adorned.
"I'll say it as many times as I have to, until you believe me."
"Then you'll be saying it for all eternity, little one."
"Good," Yuuji leans in, wraps his arms around Sukuna's neck and bats his eyelashes. "If it means eternity with you."

“Well?” The word was a low growl, a blatant challenge. “Show me what you’ve got, kid.”
Yuuji froze, breath caught in his throat.
All he could do was stare. The words replayed over and over in his head as he searched for the punchline, for the final nail in his coffin. Heat rose to his cheeks, refusing to fade, and the silence that followed nearly felt worse than the entire conversation itself.
“What?” he managed.
Sukuna’s smile was a slow, cruel twist. “You heard me.”
After finding an old video of Sukuna online, Yuuji spends a miserable week trying, and failing, not to think about it. Sukuna helps him not think about it.

“Who’s that? Your little brother?” The first guard piped up with a tone plagued with curiosity, fighting to hide an undercurrent of mocking amusement.
“Something like that.” Sukuna huffed, shaking his hands outward as a silent indication for the handcuffs to be removed. “I don’t have all day here.”
Crimson eyes remain trained on Yuuji, eyeing the physique that had somehow changed yet at the same time stayed oddly familiar. Any baby fat from his round cheeks had melted away into soft jawbone, the shaggy cut of his hair transformed into a flattering style and a loose hoodie wrapped around his broad shoulders.
It was Sukuna’s old sweatshirt, one he’d kept around since his teens. Faded and patterned with age but undoubtedly his own.
