“What are you thinking about, I want you to tell me in detail.” He breathes out, the warmth ghosting your face and reminding you how close the two of you are under the silky sheets. “I’m thinking about you, of course.” You sigh, he’ll be relentless until you tell him. You’re far past being shy around him anyways. He’s seen every inch of your bare skin.
“I’ve been thinking about these.” It’s a gentle murmur, your fingers dragging along his smooth skin. “They’ve gotten bigger, you’ve gotten stronger.” Sylus listens to you with bated breath, eyes flicking between your dancing fingers and your eyes. “I’ve been thinking about how they’d feel wrapped around my neck.” You start, eyes locking with him and smiling innocently.
“How’d they feel if you put me in a headlock while pounding me.”
OR... yeah what she said… Sylus listens to all your desires and pounds you in a headlock… again :3

This is genuinely so peak, it's my top 1 fic ever.
It reminds me of catch-22 and some of TOT's cards world-building wise. It felt deep, you know. It feels like it exists, you're pulled in. These characters feel like they have a past and a future, and it matters.If the tags don't say enough ; you got a thoroughly well-crafted MC. From what I remember, we spend a lot of time establishing who she is, where she is, what she thinks, what she wants in life, what she stands for. The worldbuilding is really, really good. It never felt like a filler episode, it never felt empty or unneeded. I came into this fanfic --one of my 1st in this fandom--, awaiting the smut ngl, but the strongest parts were the world around them and the characters. I'm still very invested. Maybe i struggled reading it because, as one of my 1st fics, it felt long, (also the smut called to me) but the 1st chapter was so good. After the 1st smut scene ended, i was in for the ride, i wanted to know more about them, i felt bad knowing that each chapter i read took me closer to the end.
We have a strong willed MC, ready to do what she needs to do and what she feels is right. They're both damn good lovers. Love them both.
While i'm sure some people could characterize it as insta-love or something, (maybe Sylus is guiltier of that) the chapters spent stuck in the cave felt organic in the progression of their relationship. They had sex, they learn about eachother. They stop having sex because of the invisible boundary that it's not part of their relationship. I imagine he doesn't want to inconvenience her, he wants her to be free and comfortable. Anyways, he's not what the village says, he's very caring and selfless, (and even lets himself be walked on) and she just wants to be with him. You got the MC who yearned for the world beyond her village, and Sylus who was her opening.
If i recall and remarked correctly, they started caring for eachother because they're both honest and similar. Her, who "fought her way" to be there, who doesn't want to back-out, and Sylus who's i think attracted to her "fearlessness" (of him), and i guess her determination to go through this problem, her wanting to feel him be into her.
There's this "forced proximity" when it's time for them to part ways, if it's not the weather, it's that he gets attacked or hurt, they save eachother, it's cute af.
There's this very vulnerable moment of him losing his senses. It's a very rememberable moment, he puts all his insecurities and fears at her feet, and she accepts him fully and more.When i read the last few chapters, i thought i didn't like them as much as the firsts, but they deepened the world around them and the characters. The 5th one is all about her working hard to save him, it's very nice.
Throughout the fic there's this ominous feeling that something will happen. That something's not all right with Sylus. That the good that's happening right now will not be definite.
I liked the writing, it's one of those fanfics where some sentences hit very well. -
