CMDR Cobalt MacKenzie, a retired interstellar explorer and exobiologist, encounters a spacetime anomaly on his first day as a Fuel Rat. As a result, he finds himself shunted into a new, strange solar system. Confused, afraid, and uncertain of how to return home, Cobalt soon discovers he isn't alone...
Accessible to both fans and non-fans, this is a prequel story to Outer Wilds designed to weave seamlessly into the canon without disrupting it. As such, it will contain major spoilers for the game. Please play the game before you read this if you have even the faintest interest in doing so.
