Ezekiel 18:20 "...A son will not suffer the punishment for the father’s guilt... the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself."
A beutiful sentiment, isnt it?
But, is it true?
Any debt that is left unpaid will be pass to the next of kin, who will have to carry on the responsibility of failures not their own.
Whether acquired by choice or happenstance, a title will burden its bearer with the expectation set by those that came before
On a biological level, all life on earth is the product of an unbroken chain of information duplication extended throughout the eons past, and so all living things are born with the sole purpose of continuing this chain for the eons to come.
Can you call your sins truly your own? Or are they just the consequence of the sins of all those that came before?
