    Akira, leaning back against the counter, looked up at him. If Iwai was trying to intimidate him, it wasn’t working.

    “I know what I want,” Akira said, pushing up from the counter enough to press his chest against Iwai’s. “I’d regret it more if we didn’t.”
    “Kid,” his voice was stern and deathly serious, “I’m warning you.”

    But that wasn’t a no. Akira smiled, pushed onto his tiptoes, and pressed a kiss to Iwai’s jaw. They were so close that he could feel Iwai tense. The hand on his throat was instant - not forceful, but there to push Akira back firmly.

    “I need you to be certain,” Iwai started to relent, “and I need to say that we shouldn’t do this.”
    “I’m certain.” Akira tipped his head up, leaning forwards to press into Iwai’s hand. To prove that he wasn’t threatened. “I want it anyway.”
