…That’s enough indulging for the next week or so, isn’t it? Miu carefully pulls Kirumi’s arm from herself, then swings her legs over the side of the hospital bed, fully intent on leaving. She’s only stopped when a hand fists itself, renewed, in her sleep shirt, keeping her anchored in place.
“T-Toujou?” Miu stammers. Turning her head, she sees that Kirumi’s regained consciousness, peering out at her with hazy green eyes through thick silvery lashes. Her expression is inscrutable… but characteristically stubborn. Her knuckles pale when she tightens her hand, and Miu doesn’t quite have the wherewithal to take it off her a second time, let alone while Kirumi’s awake and looking at her like that. She swallows. “You—you need something?”
Kirumi shakes her head. She draws Miu closer and presses her forehead in against her shoulder like a cat seeking affection, letting out a soft sigh.
