Nick Hunter, a former soldier now working for a supernatural agency, is hiding in a cheap hotel room with a wounded creature known by "Lord of Death". His mission is simple, stabilize the prisoner and hand him over. As he performs the most mundane tasks like changing bandages, offering water, giving the being a bath, the line between target and victim begins to blur. Now Nick is forced to confront a question that has no easy answer: is he a guard, a caregiver, or something else entirely?
