The Vanilla Kingdom is… definitely boring. I’m not sure what I was expecting when I said yes to Silly Vanilly’s friendship proposition, but it most certainly wasn’t the sheer amount of diplomatic meetings he’d had to attend this past week. And sure, terrorizing the staff with spaghetti snakes and croissant toads is fun, but it only goes so far. Especially when it’s been. A. Week. A long week! What poor host keeps his esteemed guest waiting that long?
So I’ve decided to do a little exploring.
Or: Shadow Milk discovers that Pure Vanilla has a personal library... containing some of his old books.

Summary
Before he was Deceit, before he was a Beast, he was Knowledge.
Shadow Milk Cookie remembers that much.
He remembers a kingdom of scholars. He remembers laughter shared with those he now lies beside.He remembers a time when Truth and Deceit were not enemies, but two halves of the same whole. He remembers sharing the truth with nations that seemed his knowledge, those same nations he now spreads deceit.
Then everything he once stood for crumbled within seconds, Silent Salt’s blade found more than just flesh.
It found his Soul Jam.
Broken, abandoned, and left among the cooling dough of his fallen comrades, Shadow Milk expects only death would emerge and embrace him just like it did with his Friends.
But instead , he wakes in the Vanilla Kingdom, in a luxurious yet oh-so nauseating room, a room coated with the fresh scent of blossomed vanillas.
Pure Vanilla Cookie, grieving losses of his own, refuses to leave him behind.As cracks spread through a shattered Soul Jam, something ancient stirs between them. A bond neither intended. A connection neither can sever.
And somewhere within the fragments of Truth and Deceit, Knowledge begins to remember itself. [incomplete]

Summary:
The witches have made a phenomenon dubbed as the Sweet Bang, that is the moment when they first baked cookies to life.
With the creations of the first batch, various branches of timelines began to exist, spreading far and crossing millennia.
Alternating time may be possible but to wipe off the origin of everything was simply impossible. Thus, this wall is known as the Temporal Barrier where the limitation of travelling to the past ends at this point and the creation of cookies was meant to be.
Shadow Milk Cookie had come further than any cookie. In a mission to create the perfect timelines and destroy the rest…
…He has come to a timeline where he will learn the most bitter and devastating truth of all.
