"Sorry about-making you wait-" The kid hiccups and sniffles.
Jesus christ. This is not happening.
"Where are you?" He asks, gruff, eying the school and its perimeter with distrust.
The kid pulls in a wet breath. "Just- inside. Inside the school. In a bathroom. I'll be out in just a second, I promise, I'm so sorry-"
He's going in. He's goddamn going in there.
