Summary
Reality is breaking.
Slowly, so very slowly, but the world crumbles, aches, cries out to be helped.Pix is just an archaeologist, seeking to uncover the past. To this end, he settles within a ruined city, an old capitol of the beautiful sprawling continent, befriends the leaders of the other nations, and realizes that he starts to call this place home.
It is a timely understanding, too, for danger lurks outside the gates-- and he must answer the call to fight alongside the rulers.

No one truly knew The Sheriff. He refused to give out his name, he was seen only during empire meetings or during trades. But there were myths, told during the starless nights. That The Sheriff was from the before times. That he killed all the old emperors. That he was older than the Great god of Stratos by a millenia. That he was a disciple of the goddess of death. That he was a son of the great primordials. That he could hear all and see all. That he was thing under the bed.
Well. Only two of those are true, he was from the before times and he killed the old emperors. Or at least that last one was his own self loathing. He was of sea and land with special preference for the muggy hot temperature of swamps. The little brother of the ruler of the largest kingdom, who’s name had been lost to the waves of time. He’s the Codfather or atleast was.

Summary
Pixlriffs would consider himself an archeologist before a historian, yet when he hears the legend of an ancient empire in the mountains known as Rivendell he sets of with 5 of the other emperors in search of answers.
Only the truth they find is much more horrifying than any of them had imagined and none of them will quite ever be the same again.
Especially not Scott.
Luckily there are people ready to support him.

Summary
Pixlriffs is an adventurer, an archeologist, and a historian. A lot for one person, but he makes it work. While out exploring the mesa, some ruins tucked away behind tall cliffs may change his worldview, and bring up some interesting questions.

Impulse and Skizz had relatively good lives, as much of a good life you can have when you're mercenaries for hire. They made good enough money to have a constant roof over their heads, good food and drink, and good gear.
All in all, a pretty good existence.
And then the universe decided to throw a wrench in their peace by presented them with a broken, lonely, grieving child. And then another. Then another. And ANOTHER.
Pretty soon, they find themselves co-raising not one, not two, but SIX magical (and traumatized) children.
And yet, as time drudges on, they can't find themselves wishing for anything less.
