Quinn/Rachel, obvs - because Faberry4Life - but basically Glee characters in a different TV world.
Received precisely ZERO interaction and single-digit hits on FanFiction.net back in 2013 and thus never got written.

Summary
The first of the lamentably few Glee fics I wrote a decade ago.
Glee was a terrible show that spawned some of the greatest fanfiction i've ever read.
The nonsense happening on screen was more than made up for by discovering the writings of women like poetzproblem, Kabensi, simplesetgo, insaneantics21, ohniceone, roxystyle011... and my eternal favourite, thememoriesfire.
(Plus many great writers I'm currently forgetting).
My point is that I spent my time in Glee fandom reading so much amazing fiction, by such a large number of talented writers, that I basically wrote sod all myself.
This is the first of that 'sod all'.
As is apparently 'my way', it's a fluffy throwaway thing about mother and daughter Saturday morning shopping that I managed to inject loads of internalized character angst into, because that seems to be the only thing I can write.
So here it is. 11 years later. A short Quinn/Judy relationshippy thingy that was inspired by discovering a certain vegan (blegh!) candy bar at my British place of work in 2012.
This is set post baby exile, with a newly-separated Judy trying to rebuild her relationship with a returned Quinn.

Gardenia, the pretty lakeside community the last remnants of the Human race have made their home, some 4 years after the Ascent of Man. The final fourteen Humans and a dog (And for reasons that will become apparent, a young Mountain Lion).
It's Mother's Day, the thanksgiving festival to mark a successful harvest and what should be a day of joy. Which it is. Sort of. If you ignore the fact that everyone in Gardenia is aware they are the last of their kind. If you try not to focus too much on the statement that has come to define their futures: "There will be no children".
It turns out to be a day of many visitors. Of Joy and sadness. Of retribution and atonement. Of hope and change.

Summary
Clarke went first two years ago. Now, with support from a small circle of allies, Raven follows, aiming for the new Kru Clarke and her wives have created in the badlands between Trikru and Azgeda.
Getting to Earth should be a straight forward proposition for a mechanical genius like Raven, even utilising the last of The Ark's old, decrepit one-person escape pods.
And so it proves. Easy, right up to the moment mid-drop that she realises someone else has taken control of her ship, veering her sharply off course from that pinned to Clarke's transponder.
Moments before she blacks out Raven sees that the pod is now headed somewhere entirely different...
