Summary
An AU of Thomas Harris' 'Hannibal Rising' where Will encounters young Hannibal in France, where he is staying with his aunt Lady Murasaki after being removed from a Soviet orphanage once known as Lecter Castle.
Enamoured with Hannibal Lecter's artwork, Will Graham attempts to find out who the creator is. In order to find out, Will needs to know Hannibal better.
Enamoured with Will's mind, Hannibal attempts to learn all there is to know about him.
Can Hannibal find it within himself to trust Will? Will Graham accept Lecter as he is when he finds out more about him?

This fic will also be available on Wattpad under the same title. It isn’t on Wattpad yet, however, as I am having trouble verifying my email.In this AU, Will is the same age as Hannibal. They are both teenagers & are around thirteen years old. This will not contain smut unless I go on to write this to the point where the two are adults.
As this is an AU, it will obviously not be exactly the same as the book.
Also, if somebody else has done this before, please tell me. I'm convinced this is my own original idea & am unaware if the same thing has been done.

The Ravenstag is a rare animal, which graze in herds and live within alpha/beta/omega dynamics. Appearances range from snowy whites, charcoal greys, glittering gold, mousey browns and ebony colourings, which fetch a pretty price upon the black market. Despite psychologists and animal preservationists doing all they can to protect these beautiful, intelligent and rare creatures whom partly resemble humans, they're still heavily hunted for their unique pelts of feathers and fur. So when alpha-stag Hannibal is presented the ultimatum: to accept the aid of the humans or accept his fate, can he let go of the pain of the past? Or struggle along on his own against all odds?
He can only hope he has made the right choice.
