"You're a phoenix?" He asked. Tommy pulled his wings in defensively.
"Yeah? What's it to you, bitch?!" He spat, whirling back around. Wilbur sighed.

Summary
Tommy was living the worst weeks of his life. First, he found out he's a necromancer, something that is very, very illegal and will probably get him killed. Second he got caught by hunters and captured. Now he's been sold to some cult so he can raise their "Blood God" from the dead.
The only real upside to all of this is that their Blood God might be just as lost and confused as Tommy is. Oh, also, he's very much not a god, but nobody's told the cult this.
Or
A vegan necromancer and a normal dude attempt to escape a cult together.

Summary
After two months of art lessons, Tommy very much regretted choosing it as a GCSE.
Not because he was bad at it or anything—no he loved drawing—but it was his teachers. It was how his school taught art. Everything about it sucked the creativity out of it. It took away his choice of expression, forced him to write coursework about overrated, dead artists and their dogshit contemporary pieces.
But then he got a new teacher to sub into his Friday lessons.
He didn't think someone whose last name referred to the stuff in chimneys could make him love art again. Yet, Mr Wilbur Soot did.

this one shot collection will unfortunately no longer be updated
the old works will remain up for all those to view and read, but i’ve been out of the dsmp for a long while now. i have no desire to continue any of this writing involving the dsmp either.
for those of you who might return to read these, left kudos, commented, or bookmarked, thank you. things like that pushed my motivation with my writing, even if it was for another fandom.
