Summary
He might have almost anyone, Charles once said, wiggling his eyebrows towards a group of giggling girls, after they had one too many butterbeers, and he was not drunk (getting drunk on butterbeer seems just as easy as getting tired on resting), but more like high on sugar. But the problem is, he doesn’t want just anyone. He wants to click. He wants to feel the butterflies, and the heat, and all those things people talk about. And he’s even kissed people: multiple people, multiple times. But in the end it’s all in vain, and he’s here, and his friends are happy with their fantasies about their futures with women they love, and he’s just Lando.
or: sixth-year Gryffingor Lando Norris is yet to find out butterflies are just a nice bonus.

Summary
“Mr. Norris, you’re his only living relative.”
Lando is dizzy in a way he’s never experienced. He’s had three concussions in his lifetime, and yet this news is what makes his skull feel volatile.
“What does this mean?” he asks.
“If you agree to take Riley, someone will drop him off to you tomorrow.”
He’s already made up his mind, but he has to know— “What will happen to him otherwise?”
The caseworker’s sigh hits Lando’s ears like feedback. “He’ll have to go into foster care.”When Lando finds out he fathered a son ten years ago, he and Oscar — two single dads with nothing in common but a few mutual friends, forced together by proximity and mischief — find themselves leaning on one another in a way they didn’t think possible.
