She’d tried, she’d poured everything she had, every trick in that cursed book, every ounce of power she possessed into trying to save Fiyero. In the end it had amounted to nothing but hazy flashes of what they were doing to him dancing across her eyes, and an angry vow to never do anything good again. Collapsing to the cold stone floor of Kiamo Ko, she’d barely registered Chistery and the other monkeys wrapping a cloak around her before her eyes slid shut."
A time-travel fix it fic, where Elphaba collapses after No Good Deed, but doesn't wake up exactly where she expects she would have....
