He pauses, unsure how to finish his sentence. The guard waits for him to continue with a bored lift of their eyebrows.
His nemesis? No, that wouldn't fly. Izuku doesn't think nemeses get preferential treatment in Tartarus. Hell, he doesn't think most regular heroes have one. He's just special that way.
His court-mandated stalker? Shigaraki Tomura's apprehension was, technically, tasked to him.
His brother in OFA? He briefly entertains sharing his headache with the guard through a complex explanation of the Shigaraki family tree, remembering that family does get unimpeded visitation rights–
Izuku straightens himself up. In the back of his mind, a plan forms.
This is a terrible idea. This is a terrible idea. This is a terrible idea.
"I'm his husband" he says, and watches the guard's blood drain.

Summary
Picks up in the car after the Suwa family showdown in Ep.12.
They have been partners for years, and they still are. They're just a different kind now, I guess? After making the drastic (and arguably psychotic) plan to leave the hitman business, Kazuki and Rei are forced to make a huge life transition. They have to become normal people. As they work together to adapt to this new and confusing life they find themselves developing new and confusing feelings as well. A continuation of what the anime set up, they are just two "best friends" trying to find a way through their mental illness, past trauma, and their everyday lives together. Unless, maybe there's more to it than that?
I wanted to dive into their near future but also elaborate on their past. So every chapter I am trying to include a current event and a related memory.

Kirishima brings up Bakugou one day as he and Kaminari are eating together in the campus cafeteria. Super casual, like yeah-I-saw-this-guy-on-TV-once, and not I’ve-watched-literally-every-single-interview-he’s-ever-even-been-in-the-background-of-and-wouldn’t-mind-having-his-babies.
“Oh, him,” Kaminari says. “Eh, he’s popular lately, I guess. Don’t see what all the hype's about.”
Kirishima feels lightheaded. “You—you don’t see the hype—” he splutters. “He’s incredible, dude.”
Kaminari just eyes him.

Deku’s watching him. His chest rises and falls and his eyes are half lidded, and he sips his tea more as an afterthought than because he’s really thirsty. “I did listen in. When you were fooling around with Kirishima. I pretended I was going back to my room but I hid in Iida's so nobody would see me.”
“I knew it,” Bakugou says, satisfied. “I knew you weren’t as chaste as you like to pretend.”
Deku runs his tongue over his upper lip, chasing a taste of his drink. “I won’t tell you any more than that. You can imagine the rest yourself.”
(Class 1A discovers that the easiest way to make Bakugou shut up is to give him a good dick down. Bakugou discovers that quirks can be useful outside of the battlefield.
He's going to fuck his way through this school before he graduates. His mother would be so proud.)
