    Aziraphale falls into a trap and loses his powers. He is surrounded by sigils, in a dungeon, and the only one who can free him is the demon who kidnapped him.

    "That's right, lean back, relax," Crowley murmured. "Let me take care of everything."

    "Please don't. Let me go," Aziraphale whined.

    "Oh, creature," spoke the demon, with his eyes fixed on the angel in front of him, "you really should start praying."

    (They couldn't make it at the Bastille that time, but fantasies don't die, right?)

    Summary

    In which God has it all planned out, Heaven and Hell don't know what they're on about, and an angel and a demon fall in love and break up multiple times over 6000 years.

    -or-

    David Tennant ad-libbed the line "I can't find you!" during the burning bookshop scene, and I wrote an entire series to explain why.
