Summary
The sight was magnificent, like a piece of art you watched come together in brilliant strokes. Inky black feathers puffed up half a size bigger, tremendously strong wings unfurling so wide you couldn’t tell where one ended and one began. The outsiders fled at the first glance of dangerous talons and sharp teeth, fear struck in their eyes, and the color drained from their faces. One word stuck in Julian’s mind, as well as yours.
‘Monster!’ They screamed, scrambling back to the treeline for safety.
