Summary
This is a fict where Ghost Batter test runs as a puppeteer on a File, only to find a rare anomaly that has been the cause of Purifiers vanishing off its canvas. The Batter’s Holy Mission cannot be achieved if there’s a metaphorical black hole present.
There is a catch: he won’t remember what has happened yesterday until he flips the Switch. Being in control of a living and breathing being has its risks, despite being half a tulpa himself once upon a time. Yet the longer he spends time with the anomaly, the sooner old habits resurface– ones that will put his very essence in turmoil. Furthermore, it seems to know him, too.
On the other side of the coin: Huaso recognizes the puppeteer in full control of the puppet, but says nothing. Torn between keeping his distance from the living, and helping Ghost remember, he begrudgingly sets out with him to finish the mission.
A timer is set the moment they met.
