“Thank you,” Till replies, face warming up. “I—I don’t really know what else to say, I’ve never had fans before.”
“You do have fans, you just ignore them.” Ivan is still smiling at him, his face impossible to read. “But that’s okay, I’m sure none of your other fans love you the way I do. After all, I’m your biggest, most loyal fan.”
Somehow, Till has the distinct feeling that Ivan isn't even exaggerating.

Summary

Some students, however, still manage to push Riddle's buttons. When Riddle gives them, what he believes to be, a suitable punishment for their disobedience, he unleashes a kind of evil in them he did not think anyone could possess. And just like that, he becomes a victim himself of a punishment that's nothing short of inhumane.
