Peter was 19 and Tony 39 when they became a couple. He was 21 when they went public, and 24 when they were married. It wasn’t always the easiest relationship to manage, with being Avengers, dealing with the public, and running SI. But as far as Peter was concerned, it was perfect. There had never been a love like there’s.
But when he was 25, all of that came crumbling down on a normal Tuesday in the middle of the summer when they weren’t even out fighting evil. They were just out, enjoying their day when the accident happened and Tony woke up after his surgery with no idea who Peter Parker was, let alone the love they shared.

Sirius had thought there would be an afterlife. He had thought he would be able to see James and Lily, maybe even his brother Regulus. But he hadn’t. Instead, death to him was like a soft slumber, a restful solace, like sleeping on a warm cloud. He had never thought death could feel so nice. In this place, nothing else seemed to matter. Nothing else seemed to bother him. His only regret was that he did not know what happened to Harry— if he was happy, if he was safe.
Well, he probably was not pleased with Sirius dying on him. But would he grieve for him? It’s not like he had the chance to become a proper godfather to him, but Merlin, he tried.
He really, really tried, dammit.
