Summary
The Gardenview Educational Center once ran like clockwork. It had a friendly environment and a lively cast of characters occupying it, running events and meet-and-greets and featuring in hundreds of children's birthday parties– all under the watchful eye of human staff.
When the powerful human authority that Gardenview once operated under just vanishes out of nowhere, things get messy very quickly, and it’s clear that someone needs to step in before the situation gets too awful. That someone ends up being Vee. Several Unpleasant Undertakings details Vee’s journey through her semi-leadership role, her changing relationships with those around her, and her growing understanding of the situation she is now trapped in.
