Summary

Summary
“Mr. Gao. The results indicate that you have a variation of the pheromonal gland atrophy syndrome. From your medical record, I see that you have experience with this disorder, as your sister has suffered from one of these variants.”
Gao Tu nodded slightly.
“There are many forms of this syndrome, but all are classified according to the severity of the case. There are five stages. Your sister suffered from the third.” The doctor paused and took a breath before continuing. “You have grade 5, the most serious of all.”
He felt his eyes water, but he nodded to the doctor to continue.
“The variant of the syndrome you have is very unique; there have only been four documented cases so far. It develops when a bond between destined mates abruptly ends. In all documented cases, each omega lost their alpha in a fatal way. Hence the common name for this gland dysfunction, The Lost Mate Syndrome.”

Gao Tu needs Shen Wenlang to survive, literally. The alpha is more than happy to be at the Omega's service. That doesn't mean Wenlang won't get a good scolding from her future sister-in-law.
