Summary
"Hello, everybody! Sorry to barge in on you like this," Will yells into the mic, met by cheers from the crowd.
"Someone bet me that someone like me could never become attached to a man with a tiny penis, but I was tricked. Oh, look," he raises his cuffed arm up as the crowd laughs.
"It's Mike Wheeler from The Make."
Mike steals the microphone from his hands, cutting off Will's joking.
"Yeah, very funny. We just got hitched together by some crazy dude backstage. I'd love to return his beautiful cuffs," he feels hands on his shoulders pulling him away from the mic stand. He shouts out one last plea.
"If anyone has any bolt cutters!"
The microphone sends a sharp frequency through the speakers as the two are pulled off stage by security.

Two feuding rock stars, Mike Wheeler and Will Byers, are handcuffed together at the T in the Park music festival and must spend 24 hours together, leading to an unexpected connection.

„Will,” his father said, gesturing toward the man standing beside him, “this is Michael Wheeler. Starting today, he’ll be your personal bodyguard.”
“A personal bodyguard?” he scoffed in disbelief. I don’t need extra protection.”
“This isn’t a request,” his father replied calmly, adjusting the cuff of his shirt. “Recent events have made it very clear that our family’s safety is no longer something we can afford to ignore.”
Michael lowered his sunglasses but remained silent the entire time. He stood perfectly still, his hands clasped behind his back, watching the boy more closely than Will liked. There was something unsettling in that stare — a cold assessment, as though he was already analyzing every single movement he made.
“Listen,” Will said, rising from the couch and looking directly at the bodyguard, “I don’t know how much they’re paying you, but you’re wasting your time. I can take care of myself.”
The corner of Michael’s mouth twitched almost imperceptibly.

Summary
Mike Wheeler and Will Byers grew up playing soccer together in Hawkins, inseparable both on and off the field.
