(Remember how in Beauty and the Beast, Beast says he’s never felt this was about anyone and wants to do something special for Belle? And then remember how in The Enchanted Christmas, Belle falls through a frozen lake, and instead of providing her with medical care, Beast throws her in the dungeon in her wet clothes to die of hypothermia and tells her to “rot forever” there? That doesn’t make much sense for him to do, does it? This fic fixes that.)
