    “You've lost a friend.” Sandy states it like a fact, and it soothes something in Kerry. Probably no one else would’ve described her and Mark as friends, including Mark. And she can’t blame them; she wouldn’t have described them as friends either. She certainly hadn’t done much to act as if they were.
