Summary
Hiei’s eyes snag on the soft curve of Kurama’s mouth. His lips are parted in a gentle sigh, and the sight toes the line of indecent.
The feeling sours quickly. He is not too young and Kurama is not too long dead for the rumors to lay quiet.
Hiei is all too aware of Youko Kurama’s reputation, of the bodies that passed beneath his hands and in his bed, of partners left discarded when they were no longer found useful.
Partners. Hiei does not make a sound. He won’t allow himself to vocalize the way this knowledge needles him. It’s like a scab he can’t help but pick open again and again.

“No—I just meant—” Boothill cut off into a frustrated noise and then shoved his thigh firmly against Argenti, who sucked in a startled gasp of air. “You can. If you need to. Or want.”
