“It’s okay,” says Enjolras quietly. “I mean, thank you.” He pauses, awkward. “Again.”
The boy leans over to nudge Enjolras with one shoulder, the move a bright spot of physical contact on an otherwise isolated day, and reaches out to tug open a compartment on their right. “You’re very welcome,” he says. “I’m Grantaire, by the way, and this is—”
“The Girl Who Lived,” says Enjolras stupidly, and instantly regrets it.
“—Cosette,” finishes Grantaire from behind him.

Summary
Enjolras knew their past would catch up with them, but he never expected it to happen like this. With Grantaire gone and an unknown enemy pulling strings even Combeferre has trouble seeing, Montparnasse is his only lead to finding out what happened, where Grantaire is, and who twisted all of this together.
(Or: Enjolras flips his shit and just wants his husband back but Grantaire won't come back to him and won't tell him why beyond that Enjolras didn't fuck up again and Enjolras will do absolutely anything to bring him home because he knows Grantaire is very very not okay.)

I've been reading a lot of college AUs and I figured I'd try my hand at it.
After a falling out with his grandfather, Marius Pontmercy finds himself adopted into a new peer group. Despite love triangles, disappearances, an awkward as ass intervention, old secrets, old wounds, substance issues, and a whole host of other issues, the friends manage to advocate for social justice and even attend class every now and then.
This fic has a high rating and contains adult subject matter handled in a manner befitting adult discourse.
