What? Eddie thinks.
“Really?” The social worker asks. Eddie can hear the surprise in her voice. “And your fiancée, where is she?” Eddie would very much like to know the same.
“Um,” Buck hesitates. “Well, you already met him. It’s… It’s Eddie. Eddie Diaz.”
What? What is Buck saying?!OR
Buck claims to be engaged to Eddie in order to have a better chance at adopting Theo. He neglects to consult Eddie's thoughts on the matter first though...

Somehow Eddie finds himself standing in his kitchen, hands gripping the countertop behind his back looking across the room into eyes he could pick from a line up not even trying to stop the words coming from his mouth.

“Christopher,” Eddie says, around a lump that’s suddenly appeared in his throat. He turns away, then, ducks down to dig through his backpack so that he won’t do something insane and embarrassing like snatch his baby back immediately after handing him over.
