Summary
Sam gets an order in from Die-Hardman about rescuing another injured porter stranded in the mountains by Mountain Knot City. He of course doesn't hesitate, but immediately regrets it upon finding out it's fucking Higgs Monaghan. He isn't completely mad however...
OR
He immediately drops Higgs into the snow as if he was just physically shocked, to which Higgs just lets out a grunt through his laugh as he hits the ground on his back. He grins under the ski mask as he looks up at Sam, those blue eyes looking more familiar now and making Sam’s gut twist in anger and confusion.
“What the fuck?!” Sam growls, standing up quickly and stumbling back in pure shock, smoothing down his jumpsuit as if to wipe Higgs off of him. “Higgs??"
The so-called injured porter's eyes twinkle with mischief, before that damn southern accent teases out, “You always so carin' like that, Sammy?"
Sam’s eyes narrow, “You sick fuck—” he grumbles, fists and jaw clenched now. In one swift, aggressive motion, he takes a step forward, pulls down his hood, and yanks the ski mask off Higgs' head, like he has to confirm it's really him. And holy shit—that face, the chiral tattoos, those lips.

Higgs only challenged him silently with watering eyes. He sucked on the gun, inviting it further in, though Sam made sure it didn’t move, glaring at Higgs.

What if Billy and Stu were there for the sequel? A classic revival of the killer.
Dying was meant to be the end, and both Billy and Stu were okay with that; in fact, they welcomed the void with open arms. So why they found themselves alive and awake two years after their Ghostface spree was beyond them. But they weren't going to let this opportunity pass them by, especially when they find someone else has taken up their mask.
But how will Billy be able to focus on revenge when old faces reveal themselves and he finds his relationship with Stu far more complicated than he was ever ready to accept?

This isn't meant to be an accurate representation of how this concept would work. It is very self-indulgent. It will somewhat follow the plot of Scream 2, but I will change it accordingly.

Billy's eyes narrow, ready to press that knife in further when Stu starts to laugh. Both Sidney and Billy are confused because how on earth is that fucking funny.
And Stu, tilting his head back, a smile still playing on his lips, “Sidney, are you trying to turn me against Billy? I know that he doesn’t love me. I know that he doesn’t care about me. But I still love him. I would do anything for him.” And god, the tone Stu uses is so heartbreakingly earnest.
