In a world where Usagi serves Mifune's young son and Hikiji never claimed the northern province, Usagi finds himself at his home village regularly. This time, his oldest friends aren't about to let him get away without an explanation.

“You cause a small explosion with dubiously legal lasers one time,” Donnie says under his breath. Then, louder; “Dearest brothers, this situation is worse. Much, much worse. In a circumstance that not even my superior algorithm could detect—we are trending on Twitter.”
“WHAT?!” Raph and Leo shout, in unison.
Donnie’s not great at the whole tone thing most times, but even he can see that there are two widely different emotions going on at this exact moment, especially the wild look in Raph’s eyes and the stupid, smug smirk on Leo’s face. The kind that usually gets more than one of them into trouble at the most inopportune times.
Mikey shakes the back of Leo’s shell. “We’re gonna be internet famous, baby!”
Or: the lives of superpowered teenage mutant ninja turtles, as seen through the eyes of New York (and, subsequently, the world).

They were a loving couple living a modest life a few towns over in Green Hills. A town that had recently stopped giving out information to anyone beyond its borders.
And they'd come in to discuss their son.
They didn't give her a name. They didn't tell her what he looked like. Only that he needed help.
Dr. Alice Burdett had been a therapist long enough to identify trauma. And their child was absolutely, totally, and significantly traumatized. And she could work with that.
"Right," she said, clicking her pen, watching the helpless parents over her notebook. "Let's start at the beginning."
