Summary
Izuku was born with no power in a world that worshipped it. he was invisible to the world. how could he not be? he couldn't be a hero because he had no power to protect. he couldn't be a villain because no villain organization would ever accept such a weak link. he would never even have a normal life because that quirkless tag would haunt him for all his days.
but he didn't care about any of it. it would never matter if he would never be given even a first chance. but power? its something that's earned. and Izuku will earn his.

so i just finished My Hero Academia. I like it, its definitely over hated... but could it be better? was All For One's plan poorly executed? did he make such idiotic choices on his quest for world domination? why was so many plot points ignored in the end, and at best resolved way to quickly and with no real consequences *cough* racism *cough*?! these questions buzzed around my head and I decided to remix the whole thing, with my own personal touches here and there. yes, I'm adding OC's. No, this is not a self insert. self inserts are stupid. Yes, I am taking this somewhat seriously. Yes, this is isn't 'exactly' a rewrite of My Hero Academia, but I will completely revamp several character and plot arcs *cough* Mineta *cough*. No, there will be no BakuDeku shipping because I'm not a weirdo and izuocha is adorable. Anyone who disagrees will find me taking a note from Mirio and will receive a punch in the face while I scream "POOOOWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
(I may also remove a couple characters I found boring, so sorry in advance if i screw you over *not.*)

I love the game helldivers. I also think its a very sad premise. anyways, the squids are invading earth and I want to write a happy ending to it all under the perspective of the illuminates. but real question... is this work treasonous. well... eh... probably. anyways, enjoy this AU

Izuku’s head snaps up, meeting his mentor’s eyes for a moment before the feeling of ice washes down his spine at the look he gave him.
It is not his fault he’s the target of some century old wrinkly supervillain due to the giant weight dropped on his shoulders by his mentor! He was tired. All he wanted was a break away from his responsibilities.
Izuku could only look at Yagi in a mix of terror and misery for one moment before his mentor looked away and he was being led out of the office and towards Heights Alliance.
He knows All Might isn’t the brightest and knows how his head clouds whenever there's a threat.
He should be happy. They're only trying to protect the students.
He knew they were just doing their jobs.
But why did it hurt so much?
