Summary
Seventeen year old Rose Lalonde lives in the tiny town of Rainbow Falls, practically hidden away in the Adirondack mountains. She deals with the death of her older sister and her mother’s alcoholism the reasonable way, by running off for days at a time to a place no one could possibly find her.
Near the end of her junior year in high school she is assigned a new lab partner in biology. Dave Strider is new in town and Rose begins to think he is more than what he lets on.
