“Alright, so. Important post-op talk. There are new rules, you understand.”
“Oh? Enlighten me.”
“The main one,” Rhaenyra said, pointing a finger, “is about your scandalous habit of wandering around this apartment half-naked. That’s over. You can’t just saunter from the shower to the kitchen with just your underwear anymore. Not now that you’ve got… you know.” She gestured at Alicent’s bandaged breasts.
Alicent’s eyes drifted involuntarily downward to the swell of Rhaenyra’s cleavage above her tank top. It was a well-known fact that Rhaenyra was built with curves that seemed designed to make clothes look like they were struggling to contain her.
“You seem to navigate the world with yours on frequent display.”
After undergoing breast augmentation surgery, Alicent's world has shrunk to the walls of her apartment and the overwhelming presence of Rhaenyra.

“I don’t know what you want me to say, Zosia,” Carol admitted, exasperated. “That I feel like I’m walking on eggshells around you? That I feel like I owe it to you to be a little nicer? That I feel guilty for taking advantage of you while you weren’t really yourself?”
Zosia huffed. “So you decided that giving me this half-assed version of yourself was going to absolve you of your previous shitty behavior?”
Carol didn’t know what to do except shrug.
“I know you,” Zosia said slowly. “Intimately and against my will. You were shoved into my molecules, my pores. I know the fire you keep in your belly. I know you stoke it yourself. I know you swallow coals and timber just to keep yourself going, however unpleasant it may be.”
A cold sweat broke across Carol’s neck. She remained silent.
“It’s not going to… make me feel better if you repress that side of yourself with the intention of pacifying me,” Zosia continued. “It makes me feel guilty, for whatever reason, and feeling guilty about you is the last thing I need right now. Or ever. You don’t deserve my guilt. Not after everything.”

Summary
Pamela Isley has been stuck in Arkham Asylum for her continued crimes that have terrorized the city. Harleen Quinzel is the new psychiatrist at Arkham, brought to help the criminals discuss their issues. Pamela thinks Harleen is going to be like the usual psychiatrists that are brought to Arkham; stay long enough until they get too terrified to show their face again. Harleen proves that she is different and makes Pamela feel emotions she had not felt in years.
