Summary
Shiro knows next to nothing about the guy. The gym’s website has a page dedicated to all their trainers and instructors where the name Keith Kogane is written next to the picture of a man who has no right to be as handsome as he is when lowkey grimacing to the camera. It reads ‘yoga instructor’ under the name, then, nothing else.
Shiro’s been eyeing him for a while from the machines, the area of the gym him and Matt frequent, but where Keith has yet to venture, so there hasn’t been an opportunity for Shiro to approach him. Matt did have the genius and very original idea of Shiro getting a private appointment from Keith, complete with suggestions on what joints and areas Shiro should feign to be very tight at, but, alas, the lack of contact information and general impossibility of being approached had nibbed that idea in the bud.
That is how Shiro happened to sign up for the first yoga class of his life.
Or: Shiro tries yoga for the hot instructor, and falls in love in the process

Summary
He couldn't remember the last time touch meant love to him. It must've been some time when he was little, when his mother's hands were still tender and he looked less like his father. As he grew taller and bulkier, and his words grew defensive and harsh, she began to stare straight through him. The last gentle touch he'd ever taken without shivering beneath it was her thin fingers dragging over the bruises mottling his arms, never apologizing but always looking sorry.
His body waited for Soap to grab, to pull, to dig his nails in just because he could — but he didn't. He roamed over Ghost's skin like it was fragile, never lingering on the remnants of a past he'd never spoken of. It was too much. Too Johnny. He wished his shoulders would stop trembling just for a moment so he could feel that sweetness without a lingering sense of dread in his bones.
or: A new recruit triggers a flashback by pinning Ghost down during a sparring match and ignoring his tap out. Panicked, Ghost dislocates his own shoulder to free himself, and Soap has to pick up the pieces while Ghost confronts feelings from his past he thought he'd buried.

Summary
They call them lows.
He guesses it’s supposed to be polite, less clinical. It doesn’t carry the same bite as “episode”; doesn’t sound so recursive. So inevitable. It’s not a state he necessarily has to find himself in again. It’s just a rough patch. A temporary setback.
Ghost’s been in a low for so long, he doesn’t remember what it’s like to feel alive.

Summary
Ghost has been working at an animal shelter that rescued problem dogs for a while now. For the most part, it's a pretty great way to spend his retirement, especially with Riley by his side. Of course, there's always things that make life suck arse.
Like the guy with all the scars casing the shelter from across the street. Ghost hasn't taken a life in a long time, but if the bastard was the kind of piece of shit he suspected he was, he'd do what he had to. And if he was wrong... Well, he'd deal with that if it came to it.

Bookmarker's Notes
Gyönyörű metaforák!!!!
But he’s obsessed with Soap, his little glimpses at Ghost whenever he pulls the mask up and bares his teeth and neck. His ocean eyes trying to stare through the mask and peel it back whenever Ghost laughs at his joke. His sunny voice and attitude that *feel like a pat to Ghost’s head, a ruffle through his flattened hair*.
It all feels so far away in Johnny’s arms.
For the flicker of a second, he thinks, that maybe, *the walls he’s spent a lifetime trying to build could somehow be replaced by this*. By Johnny’s warmhands. (ölelés)It’s because Ghost was going soft. Vulnerable enough to *let Soap wander through the gates of hell between his ribs.*
Like there’s not a goddamn graveyard under Simon’s skin,
“You-” make it so easy to forget that I hate myself.
