Summary
The only thing more embarrassing than asking his son and God, Jack, to help him to save a despicable demon from the Empty was asking that same son permission to fulfill a marriage vow with a djinn queen. Castiel, Archangel of Jack, fought to contain his nervous gnawing to the inside of his grace-formed mouth as the young God’s brow furrowed and he asked, “You married a djinn? When did you marry a djinn, Cas?”
A canon compliant exploration of how Castiel honors his promises to various characters (especially the djinn queen he's married to) once Jack raises him from the Empty and before Dean goes to Heaven. Reading the chapter 'Various & Sundry Ingredients' of my big fic 'Through the Eyes of a Part-time Angel' will give you extra context, but this can totally be read as a stand-alone fic.

He’s smelled it on Castiel for the past week, felt it in every room of the bunker, the oncoming scent of sex and sweat, roses and spices, clogging his nose until he chokes on it. The cabin outside Hastings is available for as long as he needs, and he heads up the few hours drive to the river, unpacking his things and the extra duffel at the side of the bed. Enough food to last a few days at minimum, extra sheets if need be, and the softest rope he could find. Because it’s not Castiel getting fucked here, no, as much as Dean thought it would be at the beginning.
Castiel doesn't crave physical pleasure for himself—it’s for his partner.

Summary
Cas opens his mouth to speak as soon as he watches the younger Winchester hold the kitten up towards his face to look at it up-close, immediately warning, “Sam, wait, that's—”
“Ow!” Sam startles, pulling the kitten away from his face right as Cas sighs out the word, “—Dean,” to finish his sentence.
“He scratched me!” the younger accuses in shock, lifting his free hand to hold overtop the small scratch on his cheek.
(TLDR: Dean gets cursed into a kitten for 24 hours. He's obviously not the happiest about it...but it does give the typically guarded, gruff man an excuse to finally be as affectionate as he pleases. Chaos and fluffiness ensue.)

He can recall hundreds of different motels, people walking past the room or up in the room above them. Row houses all attached so they hear their neighbors through thin walls.
Dean knows them all.
He knows when it’s nothing.
He knows when someone is there.
