Steve rolled his eyes. "They're good, okay. They could've like, saved us from Vecna or something!"
"Oh yes, I'll keep it in mind next time an interdimensional evil wizard dude tries to attack us."
Steve just nodded along. "Yeah! They'd be all like 'pow pow' and then we'd be all like 'Lay all your love on meeeee' and then boom! Dead! World? Saved. All thanks to ABBA." He paused, seemingly remembering something, and then: "I feel like we've had this conversation before."
"Pow pow?" Eddie smirked. Steve didn't dignify that with an answer. "And yeah, we did, Madonna, remember?"
"Oh right," he chuckled, "when I realized you had a thing for piercings and decided to get a hole drilled in my tongue."
OR; Steve gets a piercing to impress Eddie. It works wonderfully but not before Eddie tries to fluster him back. Robin and Nancy figure their own shit out along the way.
