The change in Kai’s demeanor is obvious — the way his eyes glaze over, hazy as he slips into the comfortable headspace that can only be brought out by Taehyun. Kai shuffles in place, his stocking-covered knees rubbing gently against the rug as he tries to get closer to Taehyun, until he’s practically seated on Taehyun’s feet, thighs bracketing his legs in.
“Want something, puppy?”
Taehyun knows what he wants. He always knows what he wants — what he needs.
