Summary
There were… many problems with sailing around the Land of the Giants. Eurylochus and Odysseus both were working to try and find a way out that wouldn’t land them right back in Poseidon’s clutches, but it was… hard.
It was night, now. Eurylochus looked up at the stars for a moment, trying to spot a recognizable pattern, but the stars were strange here.
Odysseus was on the prow, also watching the stars.

Summary
Caine had just put the finishing touches on his newest Adventure when he heard a low, keening wail echo through the tent. He quickly closed the editor and snapped himself to the source, trying to hide his anxiety. Kinger had been getting worse and worse ever since Queenie Abstracted, and while Caine wanted to believe Kinger would never leave him, he wasn’t above the fear of one day finding nothing but a corrupted creature where his creator had once been.

Summary
Caine slowly rotated his newest Adventure’s code, checking over the models and the information plaques and the overall look of the place. It… wasn’t much of an Adventure, but it was… something. It was a gallery, if anything, but his humans had requested it, so… perhaps it counted? Sort of?
He had promised to try this. To listen to his humans and act on their suggestions. And he wanted to! He did! He wanted his humans to be happy and healthy! And they had all seemed so pleased when he said he would try to do something low-stakes based on his interests alone!
This… Adventure was still just… a gallery, though.

Summary
“Ctimine didn’t take it well,” Odysseus said to Eurylochus as he followed a game trail through one of Ithaca’s wilderness.
“She never wants to see you again.”
“You could at least pretend to let me reveal things to you,” Odysseus muttered.
“Odysseus, you’re imagining me. I know everything you know,” Eurylochus responded reproachfully.
Odysseus ignored him. He kept walking along the path.

Summary
His name is Telemachus, but only a handful of people call him that. It’s mostly his relatives and the houseworkers. The citizens call him “Prince” with reverence of varying levels. The Suitors call him “Boy” or “Little Wolf” or “Prince” with no reverence whatsoever. He can list off all the people who just call him “Telemachus” with ease.
He is fifteen, facing a man with a foot of height and a hundred pounds on him. The man says he is here to marry Telemachus’ mother, and claims he intends to take over training Telemachus on how to be a proper man. If the man is representative of a proper man, Telemachus thinks he would rather be a swineherd like Eumaeus, or a housekeeper like Eurycleia.

Summary
Caine came online feeling better than he had in a long time! Kinger had evidently gone in and cleaned up a lot of his files, including some of the more cluttered memory files that had been… going unmanaged for a while as Caine tried to learn what his players really wanted out of the Adventures.
Good thing he’d fixed all of that!
Caine sat up, seeing his players around him. They’d apparently dragged the couches into a little circle and were… staring at him. Even Kinger, who… was wearing a bucket? Well, Caine wasn’t going to comment on his fashion choice!

Summary
Odysseus wasn’t sure where Telemachus was. He’d lost sight of him for only a few minutes as he chased down the remaining suitors, and now he seemed to have just vanished.
Odysseus’ foot hit something metal. He looked down and stopped.
The body at his feet was armored. None of the suitors had been armored.
Telemachus had been armored.

Summary
Antinous moaned as he came back to awareness. His head was pounding, to the point that it made his vision blur. What had…?
“Oh, you’re awake now?”
He lolled his head somewhat upright, seeing the outline of someone standing before him. Fear pooled in his stomach even before he realized who it was.
Odysseus smiled unkindly at him, arms crossed over his chest.
“Glad to see you’ve finally decided to stop being dramatic,” he said, his tone perfectly pleasant save for the icy undertone.

Summary
Keos was dying. The arrow in his chest had missed his heart, but not his lung, and he was slowly drowning in his own blood. Pain burned through him with each gurgling breath.
Footsteps approached. Keos looked up slowly, feeling terror resurge through him as the broad, blood-soaked shape of the King resolved itself in the low light of the one guttering torch on the floor.
“You’re not dead yet,” he said in a low, darkly amused voice.

Summary
Eurylochus is sitting next to Odysseus. Blood wells in the black-lightning pattern of cooked flesh down his body, but Eurylochus never seems to notice it. Odysseus tries not to stare, but it’s impossible. He caused this. He did this to his brother.
Other shades flicker in and out of visibility around them, but Odysseus ignores them. If they want to talk to him, they’ll have to wait for Eurylochus to finish.

Summary
Caine was feeling incredibly proud of himself. And woozy. Mostly woozy. Really, really woozy. He’d torn out a lot of bad code in one go, and it might have been starting to catch up with the rest of his systems. But that was fine! Because it was gone!

Penelope hated thunderstorms. She hadn’t always hated them; they could be dangerous, sure, but she’d held no particular fear of them.
That was all before Odysseus had come home.
“Husband, please,” she called through the rain, “Please, come back inside!”

“Where are you, bug?”
Ant curled up tighter in the cabinet he had shoved himself into. He should have known the open door was a trap. He should have known trying to run only ever got him punished. But he hated being in the room! He hated waiting for Sir to come in and do things to him! He wanted out!

Summary
Odysseus had always been proud of the gift Athena had given him. They proved his devotion, Athena’s favor, and his own capabilities. The silver claws, the spectral wings, the owl eyes, the little feathers in his hair - he’d worn them proudly as her student, her warrior, her general.
Now…
He wasn’t sure what he expected when Athena had turned away from him. That the alterations would vanish? That his gifts would disappear?

Summary
In spite of the fact that Zagreus was remade whenever he entered the Styx, some things would be allowed to stay. If he had a stud, piercings would stay open. Tattoos were never permanent, but it would take a solid ten deaths before they would fade completely.
If he got sick, he would remain sick until his system either beat it or died to it, in which case he would emerge from the Styx with a clean bill of health.
He only vaguely remembered waving to Hypnos and Achilles before his memory skipped and he was curled in his bed, eyes shut tight and body curled in on itself. He hated fevers. It made no sense that he could get them, with how hot he ran.

Summary
The trident wrenched free, and fell forward. Over, and over, and over. Ichor splattered the rock, the water, godly and mortal flesh alike. Poseidon was only letting out weak little gasps each time, his lungs punctured over and over until they barely shifted with the working of his diaphragm.
Poseidon’s eye suddenly focused on him. Odysseus barely took note of it as he swung the trident down again.
The flesh it carved into did not look like Poseidon’s.

Summary
When the dish broke, Caine more-or-less ignored it. The humans sometimes felt the urge to throw things around, especially breakable things. He’d fix it once they left the area.
Then Ragatha screamed. It was a horrific sound, like the scream the humans sometimes made just before-

Summary
Odysseus woke up slowly, shocked he was waking up at all. He thought Penelope had killed him. His entire body ached, and when he finally managed to sit up and look over himself, he found that he was naked and covered in wounds. His left side in particular looked as though someone had dumped a full pot of hot oil over his shoulder.
He prodded it a little, only to flinch and look around instead. He appeared to be in some sort of… barn. There were no animals inside it, just empty stalls.
Where was he?

Caine wished he understood Pomni. Okay, he wished he understood all the humans but he especially wished he understood Pomni. Summary
Odysseus knew that he was… different from the man who had left Ithaca twenty years ago. He knew he had changed both physically and mentally. After Calypso’s alterations, he barely recognized himself whenever he caught sight of even the barest hint of his reflection.
Telemachus had been hesitant to approach him at first, and Odysseus couldn’t blame him. He was a stranger, soaked in the blood of 108 men, with an appearance that must seem to mock the Odysseus Telemachus must have seen in tapestries and statuary. Still, he approached.
