    "Just for now. Just until he's stronger. Please, Sunoo. I know I have no right to ask this of you, I know what you've been through, but—" Her voice broke. "He's my son. And he's asking for his omega."

    Sunoo closed his eyes. He'd spent a year learning how to unlove Sunghoon. A year teaching his heart that the bond between them was broken, that the alpha who'd been his whole world since he was ten years old was now just a stranger.
