After fleeing Solace City during the Outlands Civil War with his family when he was only 15 years old, Elliott Witt now lives happily on a quaint farm out in the countryside of Gaea, working alongside his parents and three older brothers. All is well for the family, until seven years later danger comes knocking at their door once more only months after the war has ended.
People are being brutally killed left and right; the bodies of Elliott's neighbors are found either heavily mutilated or indistinguishable, and some are never found at all. When Elliott discovers a bloodied stranger in the Witt family's stables one night that claims to be looking for his sister, he has to make a tough decision and hope that it doesn't come back to bite him. Literally.
